Your receipt isn’t our business.

Cart and receipt images are decoded, stripped of metadata, safety-checked, processed in memory for product identification, and then immediately discarded. They are never written to our database or object storage.

What we keep

• The product names you confirm.
• A sanitized result snapshot required for its share link.
• Anonymous product analytics such as whether a scan completed or a share button was used.
• Community votes and sourced corrections, protected with abuse-prevention identifiers.

What we do not keep

• Your cart or receipt image.
• Names, addresses, payment details, loyalty IDs, or other receipt contents not needed to identify products.
• A user profile unless you explicitly choose to create one in a future version.
• Images for model training.

Public result links

Public links contain a random identifier and sanitized product results. They expire after twelve months. They do not expose the uploaded image or an identity.

Important operational detail

If validation, moderation, or product recognition fails, the image is still discarded. Research continues only from the text product list confirmed on screen.
